NÖ Bürgschaften und Beteiligungen GmbH (NÖBEG), a bank with a private-public shareholder structure, promotes economic growth in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. Its main objective is to finance and support small and medium-sized companies based in Lower Austria.

For this purpose, NÖBEG offers financial instruments in the form of guarantees for bank loans (investment and working capital financing) and equity mezzanine capital, by taking a non-voting stake in enterprises wishing to broaden their capital base.
