Partial Credit Guarantee Fund in Agriculture – PCGF

The Partial Credit Guarantee Fund in Agriculture (PCGF) is a recently established financial institution with a mission to support the sustainable development of agricultural MSMEs, particularly small farmers, by providing them with better access to financial sector resources through issuing partial credit guarantees. Establishment and development of PCGF is supported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the World Bank and European Union. 

Guarantees are provided only for loans granted by financial institutions that have entered into a cooperation agreement with the PCGF and meet the eligibility criteria approved by the Supervisory Board of PCGF.

The PCGF guarantee covers up to 50 percent of the outstanding principal amount of the loan.

The Fund is also an environmentally and socially responsible institution and promotes compliance with the relevant principles by other partner financial institutions. To ensure the effective implementation of its environmental and social policies, the PCGF has adopted an Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS).
