Wallonie Entreprendre

WE is the public regional promotional institution for the Belgian region of Wallonia. It was founded in 2002 under the name of SOWALFIN. In 2023, it changed the name to WE – Wallonie Entreprendre and merger with two other Walloon NPIs. WE provides financial and non-financial services to SMEs. One of the financial solutions proposed by the Group consist in the issuance of guarantees and counter-guarantees on bank loans and leasing operations. In addition, it offers export guarantees and counter-guarantees.

As of end-2021, WE had an outstanding guarantee volume of more than mEUR 354.8 and supported almost 4,200 SMEs.
